Senior Session

Well....I have been on a bit of a posting hiatus...but I'm back! Here are a few of my favorite shots from Labor Day weekend. This high school senior is hip, cool, stylin' and not to mention...beautiful!!!

Hello. So, I love photographing families. And this time of year is when the weather cools off and mom's want to get that family picture. You know the one. Where everyone is looking at the camera and has their best smile and cute clothes and etc, etc. Well, as many of you mom's know, that is not always what happens! Take this family below...beautiful children, beautiful day, cute clothes, but where's that great smile? Why aren't you looking at the camera? Well, it may not be "perfect", but it's perfect to me. And hopefully to you, too. Because this is what kids do. It's who they are. And I hope to capture a little of that now and then. Fortunately I do. Every single photo shoot!

For the past 9 soccer seasons I have photographed my daughter's soccer team. They are an awesome group of girls that have stayed together through the years, thanks to our amazing coach (and I do mean amazing) who has put up with them for so long!!!

A fabulous, new family just contacted me and we headed to Old Town Alexandria for this shoot. We really wanted to be at Mount Vernon, but it just did not work out...next time! (Click on portrait to see larger.)
