i was able to spend the day at Rocklands Barbeque Co. in DC today.  not only was i well taken care of by anne, but all of the staff were so awesome.  i even got to meet bbq extraordinare--john.  if you are ever in NW DC, Rockville, Arlington or Alexandria be sure to make Rocklands

a stop.  their bbq is absolutely to die for!!!

i had a great time photographing this fun family at the Jefferson Memorial...the cloudy day was perfect and the kids were great!

little sophia went from being wide awake when i got there to fast asleep within minutes!   she was funny!  what personality for such a tiny little thing!
